Dr. Murthy Remilla is a senior scientist with 34 years of diverse experience at ISRO, currently serving as the Head of Project Management at UR Rao Satellite Centre in Bangalore. He possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, and earned his PhD from IISc, Bangalore, in International Business Research. His extensive career has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the Indian Space Programme, having contributed to various projects and centers within ISRO. Dr. Remilla's commitment extends beyond the technical domain, as he has played a pivotal role in the development and coordination of Telemedicine and Tele-education services in India since 2001. He currently serves as the Honorary Secretary of the Telemedicine Society of India (TSI) and has contributed to numerous national and international publications in fields such as Business Strategy, Marketing, Remote Sensing, and Telemedicine. He actively promotes the societal benefits of technology, supports entrepreneurial ventures in the space sector, and mentors students at various educational levels. Dr. Remilla is a dedicated individual who has even registered for a PhD in Telugu Language from Andhra University. His service includes four years as an Executive Committee member of TSI and another four years as the Honorary Secretary of TSI. In his personal life, he enjoys cycling to work and has a passion for the Telugu language.
