His significant contributions include supporting health sector reforms, policy initiatives, and various projects like AB PMJAY, NDHM, and Digital Health. Dr. Gopal's dedication has earned him accolades such as the National Award for "Excellence in implementation of RSBY" and recognition from FOSGI and Bharat ke Maharathi for his exceptional work in women's health. Currently, he serves as an Advisor - Public Health Administration at NHSRC-MoHFW, GOI, continuing to advance and strengthen healthcare systems in India.
