Dr. Anjali Mishra, an Indian national, is a distinguished Professor of Endocrine Surgery and the Head of Unit 2 in the Department of Endocrine Surgery at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, India. She holds a Master of Surgery (MS) degree and is a pioneer as the first PDCC fellow in Endocrine Surgery. Dr. Mishra's research primarily focuses on clinical and molecular investigations of thyroid cancers and goiters in developing and endemic regions. She also contributes to the field of breast diseases, tele-education, and tele-follow-up. Over the course of her career, she has provided guidance for numerous MCh and MD students' research projects and theses. Dr. Mishra has an impressive publication record, with more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed international and national journals, boasting an h-index of 34 and over 3800 citations. She is an active member of several international and national scientific and professional societies, and her contributions extend to serving as a reviewer for numerous journals, as well as holding the role of academic editor for the Journal of Thyroid Research and guest editor for the Indian Journal of Surgery. Her leadership and research involvement make her a prominent figure in the field of Endocrine Surgery.
