Dr. Uma Nambiar, an accomplished neurosurgeon and adept hospital administrator, possesses a deep understanding of healthcare systems in India, Africa, and Sri Lanka. Her expertise lies in hospital planning, design, and commissioning, as well as business process re-engineering, audits, process standardization, and quality improvement in healthcare. She is a staunch advocate of technology and digital transformation in healthcare, garnering multiple awards for her contributions in this field. Dr. Nambiar is currently the CEO of Bagchi-Parthasarthy Hospital at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. In addition, she serves as an Independent Director and Board Member for the Hemas Group of Hospitals in Sri Lanka and the IIHMR-Bangalore. Furthermore, she holds the role of Chairperson of the Risk Management Committee at Hemas Group of Hospitals in Sri Lanka, Vice President of the Telemedicine Society of India's Kerala state chapter, and an Executive Committee member at the National Body of TSI.
