Dr. Sangeeta Desai, MD (Pathology), serves as the Professor and Head of Pathology at Tata Memorial Centre. She is a trailblazer in Clinical Molecular Diagnostics and Digital Pathology in India and played a pivotal role in shaping ICMR National Ethical guidelines in 2017 and ISO 13131: 2021 Health Informatics - Telehealth services. Dr. Desai has been recognized with the "Outstanding International Surveyor" award by FERCAP in November 2017. With over 265 publications, including 176 peer-reviewed papers, and contributions to 10 books, her expertise spans Oncopathology, Diagnostic Molecular Pathology, Digital Pathology/AI, Telemedicine, Biorepository science, and Research Bioethics.
