Dr. Karthik Adapa holds a Ph.D. in Health Informatics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned a Graduate Certificate in Business Fundamentals and an MPH with Honors Distinction from the same institution. His academic background also includes an MPP from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a medical degree (MBBS) from Nagpur University.
 
Currently, Dr. Adapa serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests span human factors engineering, health information systems, patient safety, and more. He is also actively involved in teaching, covering topics such as systems analysis and research design.
